I’m with Hastings for my car insurance and they’ve always been alright, though I’ve never had to make a claim.

You just need to watch them at renewal time. I got a renewal quote from them one year which was about £200 dearer than the year before, so went online to compare and found one for about £40 cheaper than the year before......... from Hastings. It was even from their Premier line which gives you even more benefits. :p

I phoned them up and told them of the better quote and they said “Sorry but we can’t match that price” :joy:
“But it’s you who’s quoted it” says I.
“Sorry, we can’t do it for that price”
So I cancelled the renewal and bought the new policy from them on the comparison site. :joy:

They won't touch any bikes with performance modifications, so no aftermarket exhausts etc.

They have come in £126.00 cheaper than Bennetts. There are 2 options Hastings and premium service?

Insurance is fantastic until you need them! My Hastings insurance renewal usually comes in way higher than the year before so I phone them and they usually drop the price.

There all the same. Good till you make a claim, and will try to screw you come renewal time.

No such thing as a good insurance company. Just ones that haven't screwed you yet:p

Make sure they inform the Motor Insurance Database (the one the Police ANPR use) that you are insured in order to stop any nasty letters coming from them, alleging you are using an uninsured motor vehicle and informing you that if you do you will incur a penalty.

I know this from personal experience.

I won't be using Hastings again next year
