Can anyone help with a query? My clutch on Sprint GT 1050 is very hard to pull in and release. Much harder than my other bike, a Fazer. Is this normal with Triumphs or is it because it's a bigger spring than the Fazer 600 or is it something else? Suggestions and help would be much appreciated. The bike is on a 15 plate with 2k on the clock.

If the clutch is not obviously heavy at the actuation lever I would check free movement of the lever itself then detach the cable and check it for friction when straight and bent.
I have no direct knowledge of the Sprint cable but some cable linings can be damaged by the wrong lube.......oil eats Teflon or summut! Silicone spray A OK......

    Welcome to the forum

When you lubed the cable did you lube the pivot bush on the lever ?

Is the cable correctly adjusted ?

Teflon cable liners swell up when oiled causing the cable to get tight ...... Don't know it these are teflon lined either
