I cannot understand how the rider escaped serious injury.... And yes, the perpetrator should suffer torture. Made to watch a full episode of the Sewing Bee springs to mind.
As a 60 year veteran of the Southern California freeway system, NOTHING suprized me. I was born and raised in the area, but during the period from about 1974-2008 I was out there 5 days a week. Sometimes night shift too. You have people here from all over the world, so some do not quite play by the rules. I have almost been hit by wrong way drivers. Drunk truckers doing 100mph. Got in the middle of police chases, multi-car pileups. You name it ! This is a place where you have to be "heads up" ALL the time !!! ...J.D.
