Greetings from Matt in Louisiana, USA. I've been riding a string of Hondas over the last 10 years and finally got my first Bonneville. It's a 2006 T100 and is in serious need of some TLC. I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone as I get it back into shape.

    Welcome from Iowa.
Been to Shreveport, but not famous Lafayette. Considered a job with Cargil at Avery Island, just to the salt, I mean south. Tabasco is good, but prefer Franks RedHot. Got any Poulet Tchoupitoulas Recipes? If you are very north on Ol'Miss can treat you to some great Iowa pork chops, pride of the state. Keep us posted on your progress.

Hi Matt and welcome in :)

I've got a 2007 air cooled Bonnie, great bikes, and silver is definately the best colour :p

Welcome from California. Nice thing about these older Triumphs is that you can pick them up relatively inexpensive and still can afford.to modify all you want. I have done it several times. Enjoy ! :) …J.D.

Wow! Thanks for the very warm welcome. I'm planning to take pics through the project and keep everyone updated. I finally got time to really go over it mechanically and change the oil. So far everything looks good! I've got parts ordered to get it back on the road but they probably won't come in for a few weeks. Some of the Triumph OEM parts are on backorder over here. I'm not technically a cajun so I'll look the other way for the jokes. ;)
