Hi I only joined a few days ago and thought I'd browse through a few of the Speed Four threads. Very interesting. When I first got my S4, I thought it was running a bit hot, the fan would come on crawling through town at 106c. I found a workshop manual for a TT600 which is supposed to be the same as the S4. The expansion reservoir for the TT is behind the left hand fairing, not on the S4. I found what I thought looked like a small window washer bottle with a rubber snap on top like you find on cars, under the seat, It had a max level on it but the reservoir was empty. I topped it to just under max and went for a blast. It ran between 80c and 90c when I got back the reservoir had reduced to about a couple of mm off the bottom. This is where it always seems to be so it must find its own level. Reading through the threads this seems to be the norm. The only problem is that I have to read the threads twice because I'm laughing so much. Can I have double drugs tonight please Nursey.
