ok here I go again! Last problem was sorted, operator error This time tho I think it's software related. As you may be aware I am planning some routes from Dan sarf to Buxton for the meet, I know most of it but I've got some wee off piste stuff that might be a bugger to remember, so, on google maps I put in the starting point and destination and then dragged the line around to the route of my choice. Being logged in to google maps on both PC and iPhone I then send route to mobile as text and email. When I click on the link it opens up with the route I have planned but as soon as I hit the 'start directions" symbol it takes me to the App Store at the Google maps app and says 'get turn by turn directions with g app' then gives me option to cancel or open, I click open and the Google maps opens, not with my route but with the first route with no mods!! Anyone else getting this? If so how did you fix it? It's doin my head in! Just in case you're thinking it you can't send it if you have entered extra destinations to go by!
I've never as yet found a custom route that from mind to map can follow so I too will be interested to people's comments and expiriences crispey
