Saw a red D600/650 in bridgenorth today after a decent ride out, first one I've seen since getting my d650 last year so I was quite happy, only reason I mention is because it had a rear seat cowl and they are as rare as unicorns. Unfortunately I'd just been past a bad accident where the rider more than likely didn't survive between ludlow and raven cafe.
Yea I think a lot of people are rusty and a lot just don't care, it definitely brought it back how at risk we are on these.
I came across a probable accident yesterday, on a road full of bikes. I'd stopped on a well known local B road to eat my sandwich. Bikes where going past every minute. One of the bikes was going at breakneck speed, a blue sportsbike. When I set off again, I'd gone about 2 or 3 miles and the road was closed off by a police car with it's blue lights flashing. I wouldn't be surprised if it was that very same sportsbike I'd seen.
