Yeah that was me. Plenty of space in the bunkhouse. Best way to properly enjoy the GMU. Food is far superior than a poxy hotel Craic is worth the entrance fee alone.
I booked through Expedia so it might take a while to filter back to the hotel. I would call them if you were interested. We had a double room booked for the three nights.
Oh, if you phone them say you’re with the motorcycle group, or whoever we are, and they might give you the same price as the others staying there
Hi, my name is Mr Orange, I was born in Scotland, raised in Yorkshire, before returning home. Ain't no way I'm paying for your digs you tight git. I noticed you ears pricked up when you thought there was a room going for free !!!
Ron, due to circumstances beyond my control I'll not be able to attend can you remove me from the list. Also there will now be a single room coming free in the hotel if guys are quick.
That’s a bugger. I’ll take the room if that’s ok? I’ll think of it as an upgrade. Happy to pay you the balance between bunkhouse & Hotel. Let me know what I owe you.
Sorry you have to miss the GMU Mark, hope things work through ok for you. As Ron say's maybe next year....
I’m not safe yet, haven’t heard back from the hotel yet. Perhaps I’m on their black list already, so bunkhouse it is unless hotel decide otherwise
Just putting the finishing touch's to the route's. Plan is to go out east on the Friday and see some Coast & Castle's. My thinking is it will be quieter on the Friday, as opposed to the Saturday. Still summer, but weekends are alwasy going to be busier. This is a gentle bimble to see the sights of the Northumberland Coast AONB. Then home via a nice wee pub in Greenhaugh. 150 miles (if we don't lose a certain person) Saturday is a repeat of some of the roads used in 2017, but they are great roads, and we're going the other way round. Everyone said the loved the route, so hopefully we can get the weather and get to play. These roads are always quiet, so we'll do them on the Saturday. 170 miles They are on my MYROUTEAPP, but don't download onto your sat-nav just yet, got to go in and tidy/tweek them.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out as well "due to unforeseen circumstances" I hope you all have a great time.
Yeah! I’ve been up around the area for the last 6 days and it’s been lovely. I knew it was too good to last.
Weather forecast will change. Better to be poor now, than saying sunshine then it rains all weekend, like last time
