As they say in Dublin, where I'm not from......Tanks Oh it has a Castle, I like Castles! £45 3 day return to Stranraer......Mmmm!
Excellent, I am liking the thought of this, but I'm a bit shy being a Noob. It maybe a camping trip for me. I'll probably get more moist closer to the time. ;-)
Don’t be shy. At the first ever GMU in 2016 hardly anyone knew anyone else but we all got to know each other. Any new GMU attendees are always made welcome.
On a serious note Baron, don't think twice about the GMU I can say without a doubt its a great gig, Its what it claims to be a Meet up, many of us had never met before but it was one of the best weekends I've had , Come along I'm camping and so is a few of us including Dilligaf who will need someone to guide him home to his billet, but before you worry DONT !! he has DILLIGAF written on his tent which helps get him home safe, but on the other hand - there is a river close by also,
You'll be too busy talking shite, drinking, sharing stories and generally having some canny craic But whatever gets you there is good
@Der Baron I had only been on the forum for a few weeks when I decided to attend the second GMU Not knowing what to expect and being a very shy type I was a bit apprehensive about attending However it’s one of the best meets that I go to and now wouldn’t miss it This years will be my third Everyone is very welcoming and friendly Loads of good banter with ride outs (I go to the pub) food nights and general tomfoolery with mild piss taking If you attend I’m sure you’ll have a good time
@Der Baron I can confirm that Dilligaf is a very shy sort of person and particularly quiet - you would hardly notice he was there! (once the fuses in his bike have been removed). He doesn't drink very much either
