Fuel Tank Crossover?!

Hi,

Just a quick one will a fuel tank from a 955i Daytona T595 fit my speed triple 955i 2002 T509??

If not what mounted the front part of the fuel tank on a 1998 speed triple under the tank cover pictures would help greatly??

Yes it’s the same tank same part number too will fit straight on to the speed triple

World of Triumph do great exploded drawings and part numbers if you put the part in your basket.

If you use Fowlers parts you get the same exploded drawings but they list the Triumph part numbers instead of their own like WOT.
I’ve also found their stock levels shown are more believable than WOT

 

I was going to answer your query , having a 955 Daytona myself but I wasn’t too sure as the Daytonas changed in 2001 to a new shape tank. I guess the Striple must have stayed the same shape into 2002.
