Fuel Pump Plate

    I have just put the fuel pump and fuel warning sender back into my new tank I have tightened the bolts up but not torqued them 5nm I tested a bolt on the old tank and it seemed quite tight the 5mm inserts are only in plastic and I am afraid of breaking one which would be a disaster after spending so much. 955i speed triple 2003.Could anyone advise.     I'd do 4nm tbh.
    As long as you tighten them in a cross pattern and not "clock" style, i couldn't see an issue.
