My 2011 speed triple has started to read no more than 3/4 on the fuel gauge. I have allowed it time to calibrate bit still goes no further than 3/4 full. Any ideas? If I reset the bike it shows full until I ride it then drops back down.
I would be more worried if it was not reading accurate as it got to empty? I'm sure somebody will be along with some help shortly.
The last 2 occasions the fuel light has come on it's only taken a out £11.00 to refill the tank which makes me think the tank sender unit is sticking. A normal fill up is about £16.00 so at least another gallon. What's involved in taking out the fuel gauge sender unit?
