Everyone has an opinion; so here’s mine, how about just the triangle and where is says “made in britain” (many aren’t) you put Forum, simples, then the stickers will be of a manageable size and a left tit logo on a tee shirt
That's it for now... Gotsta head out! Incidentally, as I'm just doing these to fill in a bit of spare time, if you wants to use them, feel free.( Except for Rons. You'll have to ask him.... )
Sorry to be picky ..... but all urls are in lower case. You had the three words ("The", "Triumph" and "Forum") separated as part of a heading or title in your original example, hence the suggestion to capitalise first letters. If you're using the url as a heading or title (as above), it would (IMHO) look better and more coherent in lower case. If you're using the three words as a heading, then I suggest spacing separation and drop the 'dot com' - you could then, maybe, put the actual url below the badge? Now, where did I put that self-help book about overcoming the OCD of pedantry .......................................
HAHAHAHAHA ....the apprentice trying to overcome the master? Never. I am but a child by comparison............
Yer, yer, yer ..... it would be a typo if you'd written "beinf" or "begin" or some such. "A typographical error (often shortened to typo), also called misprint, is a mistake (such as a spelling mistake) made in the typing of printed (or electronic) material. Historically, this referred to mistakes in manual type-setting (typography)." It was an error, but one of omission - so it was just a mistake. Bit like it would be for me to try to steal Callumity's thunder and crown?
Actually, Ron, he is, strictly speaking, neither advertising the url or promoting the group, but that's being needlessly pedantic on my part. Habits of a lifetime? Sorry. In fundamental terms and as far as I know, the group exists ONLY as a url - it's an entity that lives solely on the web - and in the heads of those that enter or inhabit the virtual world of the forum itself. You can't order or buy a 'triumph forum' but you can promote and/or advertise it. Anyway, as I said, if it's written as a url, it looks so much better in lower case - simply because that's the standardised format with which whole world is now familiar. The protocol even enforces a translation into lower case. If you are promoting the group as an object, then I agree The Triumph Forum is fine and looks great and, as you say, capital letters apply. If you are promoting access to the group as a web based forum and using a url to do that, then (for me, at least) thetriumphforum.com looks more familiar, more coherent and more logical. My 2c/p. Steve, grab a couple of asprin quick .........
