I think that in todays world the vast majority of football fans behave before, during and after the game. There will always be a minority in all walks of life that spoil things for the majority. This inludes all sports......
No... A race day lasts for around 72 hours. Get there the day before, or even two days before race day and leave the day after. None of that getting pished up a few hours before they open the turnstiles at the footy ground. . Ken.
I honestly don't have an issue with the footballers and their money at all, bloody good luck to them. All of us would happily take it given the chance. It's not up to them to do anything any more than it is for us "mortals". I do have a problem with the system that pays them such ridiculous sums for simply playing a fucking game of football though. It's not like it even carries any risk!
No mate, Union is more my thing but that's not to say I don't watch the other side too on occasions As has been said a few times on this thread, the majority are just there to enjoy but the stupidity of a few tarnishes the whole community I stand by what I say though and even the League community recognises an issue https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/hooliganism-rugby-league-lovers-must-unite-against-it/
Down to drink by a few, just like what you get in quite a few sports. If you care to go to either the Challenge Cup Final or Super League The Grand Final or International you will see supporters from many other teams and wearing their team shirts drinking, mingling before the game and sitting next to each other during the game and there’s little if no trouble at all. There’s banter yes trouble nope. So to say “League seems to have a similar problem to football” is so far off the mark. It looks like the Welsh police are saying that rugby Union fans are worse than football fans https://www.joe.co.uk/sport/welsh-p...ns-being-worse-than-football-supporters-42765 https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/mums-children-flee-terror-fans-16167045
It seems that various members at having a go at football players and supporters, rugby etc. We as motorcyclist now better than most what it's like to get grief from different sections of society. Maybe we should just agree to disagree. Leave people to follow their own passions and enjoyments.
I genuinely don't give a rats, every sport has its positive and negative points, idiotic followers, passionate fans and dickheads that use the sport as their excuse for being a tw@t. I happen to like motorbikes and Union but fully appreciate that others follow lesser sports
Don’t forget the Bloodgate incident that happened in the Rugby Yawnion game Harlequins v Leinster and Yawnion supporters say footballers are cheats
You are entitled to your opinion, but there are millions who would disagree. Stay happy and safe mate
