Triumph America 2012 has running boards, I wish to change to Foot pegs, is this difficult? where do I start?
I believe you're going to have to change almost everything ! Starting at the brackets across the framework up front , as the sweep back is different between peg and board models ! Unless you find it still within reasonable reach and comfortable and you can still use the control's. The heal and toe gear change is probably the biggest job ! I don't believe that pegs will just swap out for the boards , different mountings . find someone close/local to you with an America or Speed Master that has pegs , measure up , don't forget to measure reach/forwards stretch , pick a point that is in the same position on both bike's and measure to see if the mounting point for the Peg's and Boards is the same.
