Thinking of fitting a fly screen to my ST. Like the look of the dart one. Question: Do they make any real difference? Anyone got any experience of this product?
I fitted dart screens to both my street twin and speedmaster. Whilst they do provide some wind protection, they do not make a significant difference. But they do look nice...
I had a fly screen on my Thruxton, and the difference is there but very slight. I wouldn’t say it’s huge but does make 70 mph feel better. I have a smoked one for a Thruxton check with your dealer if the parts are interchangeable, if they are you’ll get a bargain,
Got one on my speedy, never drove without it, so don’t know the difference. What I do know, is that I like the looks of it!
Hmm.....thanks for all your replies, sounds like they don't actually do much! All the available ones do look pretty small , l suppose a massive sail on the front would detract from the looks somewhat! Think I'll sleep on it!
Mid size screen on my STwin. Makes 80-90mph comfortable, unlike the arm wrenching at 70mph. But it does transfer some turbulence up around the helmet.
Just looked at Street triple, Thruxton screen definitely won’t fit and yeah it’s more visual than practical.
[QUOTE="Rich Bryce, post: 279634, member: 3 he a mi'splaced one there too ... [/QUOTE] Enough of this apostrophe nonsense....it's getting too silly (note correct use of apostrophe in it's)
