Never had double sided swing arm before...and so never had the need for a paddock stand... Are these the appropriate bobbins on my 2010 Tiger 1050 to use such a stand? Do I need anything in particular, specific fittings.or anything? Sorry for the basic question...but sometimes you just don't know the answer!
Hi Daniel. They're not paddock stand bobbins but 'frame sliders'. For the front you could use either a stand which cups the bottom of the fork legs or use a 'headstock' stand where a pin locates in the aperture in the bottom of the steering stem. For the rear, look to see if there is a threaded boss in the lower swinging arm leg - usually either 6 or 8mm (I think) - to accept paddock stand bobbins or, again, you'll need a 'platform' type fitting in a rear paddock stand.
