Do a hand count of owners and potential owners of nw R3s, then, when dilligaf starts designing things he can do a production run and possibly charge not much more than Triumph for Bespoke accessories! Ken.
You’ve got no chance I’ve been giving this a lot of thought and although the Triumph stuff is over priced it is very clever and very well made I have no chance of casting aluminium and the triumph stuff is just not adaptable So I’m gonna have an almost total redesign of the back end of my R3R It’s gonna be a helluva project and will take a lot of hard work and swearing to get where I want to be But what I’m hoping to achieve is a bike that will do everything that I require
I hope Mr O has sufficient server capacity to accomodate the length of thread that project is going to generate
Well I’m disappointed mate, always looking for an opportunity and I thought I was on a safe bet here. Ah well back to the drawing board....
Yeah that’s exactly what I mean I only ever have one bike It has to do everything ......it will eventually
I wasn’t thinking about cast Ali, more MDF, plastic, cardboard and maybe, just a little leather to give it that dilligaf quality look. Ken.
From what I’ve seen of your rigs over my time on the forum, Dilli, maybe you need to design a detachable combo sidecar/trailer for your Rocket to suit your motorcycling needs!
Noooooooo, look forum members if we each donated a £1, we could save ourselves 50 pages of what the feck is it quizzing.
It would be more like Thunderbird two, "what pod do we fit today" a whole row of attachments Dilli just backs the bike into the one most suitable
A custom fiberglass seat form covered with padding and leather. Glass isn't that hard to work with especially if it's hidden from view and can be less than perfect.
I can see shares in Tata steel going through the roof or some other heavy industrial steel manufacturing company
Dilli Did you take your wooden beer table off Nudger, You could maybe adapt it to fit the 3 headed mutt.
Agreed , overpriced. 315$ for the little mini bag for the triumph bobber, it is only rated for 2.5 pounds. So it can hold a water bottle and a phone but thats pushing it...
