    Hi there,
I am new to the forum and Triumph and recently purchased an Explorer 1200. I have noticed a rattling sound coming from the engine area when I am in neutral, but when you pull in the clutch the noise is less distinguished, but still there. When I am driving I cant hear the noise, but I assume its still near, just the road and engine revs drown it out...Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Scott I had a one of the first Trophy SE's (same engine as the explorer) and Triumph recalled them to fix a problem with top end noise. Might be worth finding out if you engine (via your VIN number) was included and if the recall work has been done.
