Hello all, My name is Eric, I am 55 years old and riding Triumph bikes since 2002. I will not waste time to tell you the former Japanese bikes I had before. First one was nice roulette green 955 Tiger ridden up to 65 000 km. Second one was Caspian blue 1050 Tiger left at 67 000 km. Third one was white 1200 Tiger Explorer sold at 78 000 km. Last one and current is cobalt Matt blue XRX Tiger having 26 300 km today. As you can imagine I experienced issues with alternator + rectifier issues on two first bikes. Moving to alternator car type on Tiger 1200 engines is a great improvement. I am very happy with 1200 Tiger even it is a sort of BBW bike it handles very well with commuting and traffic jam use and is really nice on back roads. Cruise control is helpful on boring highway. I had the chance to ride 1200 Scrambler XE while waiting for my 16 000 km service at dealer and was impressed. But this bike seems not to be done for daily use and commuting. Too bad. Kind regards Eric
