Very best wishes for a happy retirement to the broadcasting legend and fellow biker Johnny Walker who chaired his last "Sounds of the 70's" show today. I don't do much radio TBH but this show is a compulsive listen for me, both live, if I'm in the garage on a Sunday afternoon and recorded on the BBC Sounds app along with Tony Blackburn's "Sounds of the 60's". Both of these guys just remind me of a magical era that was and will, sadly never be again. The good news is Johnny's 70's show is to continue with "whispering" Bob Harris of OGWT fame at the helm.
