1961 650cc twin both spark plugs spark, then stay with a constant spark on both plugs help

And the problem is????? there is no way you will get a constant spark, as Joe says if electronic then it will be wasted spark and both plugs will spark together which is not a problem.

Well I’m still not getting what your problem is. You are getting sparks at both plugs with the ignition on?
What are you expecting?

 

Can you define what you mean by constant?

That is a new one on me. Sparks without turning the engine. Going back to the ignition. What setup have you. OEM points and stator or has it been converted to something like boyer. The only thing it could be is a faulty electronic box. Its a hard thing to see in my mind. Is the spark continuous or intermittent. You got me scratching my head here.

It must be running electronic ignition, I can’t see how that could happen with traditional points and distributor.

 

Yes got to be electronic...i would suspect a short in the hall sensor or the control box is fried.
