In relation to my post about exhaust, Got my bike in for a service, I have told them not to bugger around with my TTP3 map, they say as a matter of course they check the map and have informed me that I have the Standard triumph map installed,. Now, this bike has had the TTP3 map in for 3 years at least, only changed at its last service when Triumph in their wisdom installed the map for the arrow cans saying I had the wrong map in, I bought the latest TTP3 map and installed that shortly after. Never had the cable plugged in and never possessed the standard map, soooooo can the ECU reset itself to factory standard?

Hi Crispey, did you know that the TTP3 has the same map name as a std. Triumph? From memory it's 20506???

So if I'm right the Triumph boys wouldn't even know it's a modified version of their own map.

Really clever as this will help if MOT tests do start reading ECUs it will come i am sure and dealers over writing them.
