I bid every day for around 4 hours even when on holiday, well only do 2 hours then. Am bidding now I bid all night. The iPad is never out of my hand even when watching tv lol. Anyway if in doubt just ring eBay
I think this explains what I was trying to say re. accepting offers...unless I’m missing something? Regards,Ken.
I see what it is saying but there is no way of doing it that i know of. But you lean something everyday only fools don't. but i will ring ebay ( no phone now)and find out for sure just so i know for a fact. thanks for putting the info up.could be a new thing.
The guy that wanted my seat messaged me asking what figure I had in mind that I’d be happy with, I told him what I’d accept, he then put a bid in for that amount and I accepted the highest bid which was his. Needs coordination though. Regards,Ken.
if there are other bids on a listing say at £10 if the nest bidder puts in say £30 it will still only go up by a £1 will not jump to the £30 and the seller will not know he put in a bid of £30. i am guess it was on a best offer so you told him what you wanted then he put in that offer then yes you can accept it. job done.
No, it wasn’t on a ‘Best offer’. I think, when the ‘Winner’ put his bid in others put their bids in and the price went up in increments until my prefered bidder’s bid showed as the highest, (This were coordination needed) I then accepted his bid before someone else bid more. End of auction. Obviously someone had an automatic bid working, but they hadn’t put a maximum as high as the winning bid. Regards, Ken.
