Down Shifting Issue

    I have an issue when down shifting after i move above 2nd. If i stay in 1st and 2nd its not an issue. If i change to 3rd i calnt get 1st again. I have checked the clutch settings and changed my gear oil.

    Welcome Mark, is this with the engine running? Is the clutch disengaging properly, ie no drive to the back wheel at all?

    Sorry yes the engine runs fine this issue is when riding the bike along the road, all the gears work fine but first after changing up past 2nd

    Its 1978 and ive been restoring it for the last few years off and on. Ive rebuilt the engine and it has been fine until recently.
