I am busy doing my homework for installining a new Ignition System and I need Dielectic grease, which I do not have.
Can I use Silicone Grease, which I do have, ( bit runny like). or any other substitute/work around would be appreciated.

Silicone grease is generally dielectric i.e. insulating (as well as being water resistant.)

No it will make stress failure points where the solder ends in the wires, and they wont like vibration.

Make sure you use dielectric grease specifically intended for electrical connections.

I took the bike for a short trip today to get some dielectric grease, instead of waiting for the courier, the car shop in the next town didnt have any, he seemed to have never heard of it.
I think I will put it together, without, or Im waiting for 4 days, then for a rest day, etc, etc, etc.
