Well I’m taking the risk and I’ve payed a deposit on a new 900 Scrambler in black. I’ve now just got to see if I can manage the weight? It’s not till I’ve got it and had few months worth of use I’ll have the answer to that question. It was a toss up in the end between the Triumph and the Ducati 800 scrambler which weighs in at 40 kg less.

I’m probably going to need to lower it, as the first job any good suggestions?
I’ll let you know when I pick it up. Just need to sell my f750gs now.

Thanks to all those who gave me advice on what to buy.

Correct decision - build quality on the Triumph is far higher. Best of luck with it.

I wouldn't have guessed the weight of the bike when test riding it but you can feel it when moving it around.
