Wessa, I just finished the first 1000 kilometers and brought the bike back from the inspection. I do love it. The sound is absolutely gorgeous, the punch pretty impressive (although the R 1250 RS punches even more...), the suspension is also very satisfying and the whole finish is... well ... German. The seat, as I mentioned before is not a long range buddy but since I have an Espresso every once in a while anyway, that is fine with me as well. It is about the same seating comfort as @heartlander ‘s 1200 Scrambler (we recently swapped machines and man, is that a ride! Love it as well!). @steve lovatt you are right: that is exactly the same cluster. I really missed the rev-counter!
Strange that they include a voltmeter and temperature gauge in the readout, especially as it's air cooled!
I like!! I like very much! Been out on the f8 this morning although it’s a fantastic all rounder it’s not as much fun as my boxer into and out of sharp bends!! There is something about boxers!!
