hi all I've an 02 955i sprint. I have all dash lights and fuel gauge works but when I press the starter most often there's a delay before firing up, this can take up to 8 seconds (I timed it). I don't have to move the headstock or shake the bike so I assume it's not just a loose connection, any ideas?
    Thanks

Sounds like corrosion check your connections especially large power and earth cables make sure battery connections are tight and start working your way through socket connections and switches cleaning and spraying with wd40

Pull the right hand switch block apart and clean the brass starter button ! My 1999 955I sprint did the same in about 2007 ! And that was the fix!! :) :) :)
