Hello all. I have just bought a pair of SW Motech crash bars for my recently-acquired 2016 900cc Street Twin. The instructions state that the seat and tank cover should be romved first BUT I can't see why that is necessary. Has anyone any experience of fitting these bars?

Fitted mine without removing the tank and seat. You just need the correct tools to remove the nuts and bolts.
