Not wishing to start a jab or not to jab discussion, a calculator has been launched to give you an idea of where you might be in the vaccination queue. Obviously, just an estimate based on the answers you give to a handful of questions. https://www.omnicalculator.com/health/vaccine-queue-uk Marky between 14/03/2021 and 24/04/2021. MRS Marky between 22/12/2020 and 18/01/2021.
My results were: Given a vaccination rate of 1,000,000 a week and an uptake of 70.6%, you should expect to receive your vaccine between 25/02/2021 and 14/03/2021. I'll look forward to being called forward.......
I’m calling Fake on this one. Real nurses always have an Australian pocket watch pinned on their tunics.
Does make me laugh when people talk about us being back to normal by Easter. No chance! I’m in the 50-59 category, and predicted to be jabbed from June onwards. And that’s if these plonkers can actually get their shit together to vaccinate 1m per day, which I doubt. Don’t get me wrong, I know how massive and massively complex a task this is, so I don’t have a high expectation on delivery because I know it’s hard. I just wish they wouldn’t pretend it’s nearly sorted when it so clearly isn’t.
Once all the old people get their jabs, cos they are the high risk, then the death rate will fall through the floor, so by mid January no one will be locked down. No justification for it. If 90% of the mortality is from over 70s and they are all vaccinizzed
My Mum who will be 90 in January is not going to have it. She’s on all sorts of heart tablets and is worried the vaccine will somehow affect her medication. My brother and I can’t persuade her. Anybody else having similar worries.
