Just been to Bulldog Triumph and guess now i have traded my 660 for the speed 400. Due to be delivered in two weeks when all the accessories get fitted. Again another big thankyou to Bulldog Triumph who made my visit a pleasure even before the trade. They in my mind are a great bunch who go that extra mile. And so so friendly. thumbnail i.jpeg

Did you mean "oh so friendly" or were they really just "so, so"? LOL!

Good luck with your new ride!

We expect a full report and more pix once you've wrung her out.

@Fork Lock No this was before i even mentioned the trade. I was actually looking at a 955i Daytona and a Tiger800 on there trade sales list with no real interest just making conversation. And sorry credit to Bulldog they were Brilliant. Got a load of bitts thrown in for my 400x which i will take some pictures later and post them. Also when i purchased the 400 street they gave me several bits for free or trade price. So thankyou Bulldog.

@Dawsy Thanks yes I think I will enjoy the smaller bikes now. The 660 I sold was not used as it should. I was riding it at 60 all the time and it wanted more. Plus my shoulders are playing up these days and the smaller bike seem to suit me more. We will find out soon.

@Glenn2926 Yes I do hope we are going to get an Indian Summer. But I used to ride every day so weather was just a part of it.

Well peeps had the new bike out today for a gentle run. Only about fifteen miles urban roads. First impressions were it seemed a little smoother than the x and felt like it wanted to go faster. It did not like the 30 and 20 miles per hour limits much unless you drop back to fourth gear. But all in all it feels nice and I liked it a lot. Obviously after a few more miles I will update my feelings and opinions but fee I will still like it as much. I won't differentiate between the two bike as they are so very similar. Maybe the x may be a little more aggressive if that is the right word and does vibrate a little but in a friendly way.
