Clutch Problem

    Has anyone had there clutch suddenly go really tight

    Hi there,
    Do you mean at the lever?
    Have you tried taking off the cable and then trying the lever and then the clutch end (with a pair of pliers etc) to try and localise it?
    Or, it could be hydraulic which means the above is a load of rubbish of course!!!
    A bit more info would help though tbf!!!

    Yes you need to check the cable is not gummed up and free flowing. Also the little oil seal on the clutch lever arm may have gone.

    What's the bike?
    If it's a tbird 1600/1700 then my friends got one in the dealer's right now being stripped down following this happening.
