hi Guys, not a triumph but whilst trying to get the wife's Yamaha YZF 125 sorted. The clutch/engine clunks as it finally engages its fine on the bite it's when you fully drop it. I have changed oil cleaned inspected plates all looked ok. Have fiddled a bit with cable adjustments but still same. Could plates be warped? Any help appreciated thx

    Hogster,

Could it be a loose chain or worn cush drive?

Cush all ok, front sprocket is very wiggly, cleaned and seems ok for wear, lookedon yam forum old posts say it's common and a non issue. Seems odd to me but all other posts refer to new clutch plates and a decent semi syn oil, so gonna change them.
