Hi everyone Has anyone had experience of clocks misting up? My 2013 thruxton has started to show signs of condensation in both clocks, the bike is garaged, but does go out in all weathers. The headlamp had the same problem but this cleared after the light was on a while. Short of getting new clocks fitted under warranty is there any other solution.
If it was an older bike i would dismantle the clocks & remove the glass & bezel, clean the glass on the inside & refit it with a light smear of silicon sealant around the mating edge of the glass & the bezel to keep any moisture out. But, as its under warranty, get Triumph to do it free of charge :upyeah:
I had three sets on my 07 SIII before the last ones stopped misting. Triumph are brilliant... at least while still under warranty!
Hi and welcome to the forum. As Pig says I would take it back to the dealer and let them sort it, they should not mist up.
Maybe its a 'feature' that Triumph use to stop you realizing how slow you are going? just sayin' x always here to help... ah was this a serious answers only topic?
