Cleaning The Silver Bits

    Any suggestions on how to clean the silver bits on my speed triple (2002 955i)?

    Ankle guards? Swing arm? They aren't shiny. They are a kind of dull silver. Cast? Aluminium? Not sure. I think they may have a lacquer on them?

    But I found something that's really useful... And seems to have worked a treat!
