just out of interest and wanting to get everything looking good how do you all clean inbetween the air cooling fins? And what do you use?
I used to use long narrow bristle brushes with the normal car/bike washing shampoo when I had my Bonny. Do it often enough and you'll never have any discolouration.

Tin of Gunk and an old paint brush! The smell of a hot, freshly Gunked engine is as addictive as Castrol 'R' and/or the smell of a steam locomotive working hard passing under a bridge. Strange? Moi? You may think so. I couldn't possibly comment!
