Just pointing out my awkward entrance to the forum. I've only had one Triumph before, a Speed Triple in 2012. I'm picking up a new 765 RS tomorrow and it's likely going to be a steep learning curve for me. Recently sold my '17 Tuono V4 RR. I miss it. Hoping the 765 can fill the void.
    Stay safe!

Thanks from Greenville, SC. Looking forward to tomorrow. Went to test ride it and pick it up today and the sky opened up as soon as I pulled in...

Yup, we've been getting dumped on yesterday and today. Thankfully this past weekend was superb. I hope the weather cooperates for you tomorrow. Looks like the afternoon should shape up and then clear for the rest of the week. Ride safe.

Greetings and welcome to the forum, Superslomo! How exciting that you're picking up your new bike tomorrow. I always say there's nothing like a new bike to make ya feel like a little kid again. :) Hope you love it! And we'd love to see some photos of it when you get a chance.

Thanks. I agree. Hard not to enjoy a new bike. I envy you living in Tucson. I lived in Nogales for a few years long ago and always enjoyed riding around your area. I'll post pics if all works out and if I can figure out how to do it.

Welcome to the family. Do tell us all your thoughts when you get the new steed. And hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and share a picture of the steeds.

Yes, there is certainly good riding all around southern Arizona, @Superslomo. Here's a link to a post on the Newbies Forum about posting photos. Hope it's helpful. You can also just drag a photo that's on your desktop onto your post. It will show up underneath the posting area and you click on the link next to the thumbnail.

WOW! What a pleasant welcome from so many nice folks! Thank you all very much. After riding an RS and an R LRH, I couldn't tell much difference. I'm sure the upgraded suspension would shine on a race course but the only track time I see is the drag strip. Wound up with a leftover 2020 R model. I really like it a lot. It doesn't have the tendon-stretching giddy-up of my Tuono but it makes it up by handling better than anything I've ridden. This one came from Triumph with an Arrow slip-on that I did not want. I'm sure I paid something for it but I tried not to. Would have been just as happy with the stocker. Quick pic in case you have forgotten what the 2020 R looks like. Ha.
