Is it possible to have a chat room on the site? (Or is there one already and I'm just too thick/senile to find it?)
The reason I asked is that I had a little look in after a ride this morning and Kradser was also online. I thought it would've been nice to say a quick 'hello, what you up to' kind of thing without it being on a post that he'd have to hit on. Mind you, Steve, if you have as much success with this as you've had with the 'likes' thing I won't hold my breath... Just sayin'... :tongue:

Could be a good idea, I use the forum when Im sitting offshore waiting to work. Sometimes I have a lot of time to fill. I use the chat funtion on facebook with others that are in the same situation. For me its great to "hear" from people while Im sitting bored and everybody else is working "normal" hours.
would be nice to have a chat ,posting on a thread you have to wait for a reply then you look at another thread and forget to go back ,must be old age LOL

Know what running casing is - been working offshore since the 70's, a while since I was on a rig though - how many fingers you got?! Spend all my time on a DSV so get to move around a bit more - currently off Norway.
Got all my fingers :smile: I dont go up on the stabing board :smile: Ive only been doing this for about 1 1/2 year, was welding and skaffolding before that. Casing is a great job:upyeah:
Aaaah you fix the actual phone lines! I just try to make them work once installed, basically I have to deal with BT's shit all day
Were a telephone answering service so we have about 5 phone providers, none of them BT! Difficult thing is all telecoms things come back to BT at some point
