    hi there
im having difficulties getting my carbs running right on m 94 tiger 900
i completly rebuild the carbs swapping out the gasneedle, gasneedle housing, main jet and pilot jet
    all original triumph parts used
now my bike runs poorly beneath 3000 rpm , sometimes has bangs in the exhausts .
above 3000 rpm the bike pickes up nicely
i tried bigger pilot jets but then my fuel consumption is around 1:9.5 km /ltr normaly im around 1:14with the original pilot jets

    data ; mikuni carbs
    pilot # 40 2.0 turns out
    main#130
    gasneedle 3th slot

carbs have been synchronised , valve clearance checked and compression is between 10.5 and 11 bar
fuel bowl levels are also spot on ( as per shopmanual)

Have you cleared out all the internal passages they can really mess it up and only need a tiny piece of dirt . Is there an adjustable air screw for the pilot circuit ?

This is worth watching, especially from about 5 minutes in.
