Hello guys need some help been offered a street triple r it’s done under 2k miles on 2014 plate. but has only been service twice. It has also not been driven since 2017 had been turned over regularly and heated up and has always been kept in garage . what would you look out for ? Would any parts need changed ? Is it possible this mileage isn’t true? How much would this bike be worth ? thanks
At that milage the bike should look like brand new if its correct and it's worth 4-4500 as a guess, would need oil n filter and a checkover minimum.
All I would be concerned about is some fresh fuel. I have bought bikes a lot older than that, that have been sitting a lot longer with no ill effects. ...J.D.
Expect the battery to be time expired and the tyres also. Apart from that it wants all fluids replacing. It should otherwise be in pretty good nick apart from dust!
