Buying A Compressor

    after a bit of advice I am thinking of buying a cheap compressor would a 1hp 8 litre be suitable for pumping up tyres and maybe a bit of spraying side panels petrol tank that sort of thing

    Blowing up tyres etc will be fine, but for any spraying you will find anything less than 50L to be a pain and you'll spend more time waiting than spraying and the pressure will fluctuate all over the place.

    Agree, I have a small compressor bought just to do tyres, blow excess water off the bike after washing, etc and it’s forever kicking in to top up the tank. Get something bigger assuming you have the space if you are going to be spray painting.
