Get Nightbreakers, they promise to provide up to 140% more light without increasing current flow - ie they are the std. wattage.
I saw a new street twin today with what looked like a triumph led bulb in it. I haven't investigated but there should be a good chance these can be used in any headlight bowl. Could be a ballast or something involved? Taff
Halfords etc. They're readily available. Several makes too. They claim 120% more light etc. Straight fit for a std H4 bulb with no wiring mods etc. Mine are Phillips version if I remember correctly.
Here's some examples: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...htbreaker+.TRS0&_nkw=nightbreaker+h4&_sacat=0
I got mine from http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk They offer all kinds of bulbs on there. I think LED is the future and I need to look into it when I've got nothing better to do. I also changed the triumph lenses for Cibie's as the lens and reflector makes a massive difference to the quality of the beam and spread of light. It is also possible to wire headlights so the dip stays on when the main beam is on. I haven't done this on the Speed Triple but I have on the T110 and it makes a huge difference. Taff
