I'm not a big fan of washing and polishing anymore, so when i do it, i want to make it as quick and painless as possible. One of my biggest gripes is cleaning off dead bugs. What do you use to remove them, i'm only using hot soapy water now, i've tried muc-off and 6T9 'bike cleaners' but don't really rate either of them. Educate me please
Harley Davidson bug cleaner works a dream in seconds, even on dried out splatty ones, and leaves no messy traces. They sell a pocket size spray too, so you can try it without splashing out for a full sized bottle. Highly recommended.
I've been having pretty good success with a product I learned about last spring at a motorcycle rally. It's called Bug Slide. Comes in different sizes including a small spray bottle you can tuck in a saddlebag. I still like to lay a wet microfiber cloth over really caked on bugs (especially on windshields/screens) for a minute or two to losse up the crusty old dead carcasses (ewwww!), wipe off the big chunks, then use the Bug Slide. Seems to more I use the Bug Slide the easier it is to remove dead bugs each time. Here's a link to it on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Bug-Slide-BSK-16-Trigger-Cleaner/dp/B01347RMT2
I use Autoglym Rapid Detailer between washes... But I spray it on to a MF cloth, then just wipe the litlle bastids away.
