Speed Triple had it's first service the other week. After handing over the keys I wandered into the showroom to decide what I was going to play with for the next few hours...
Finally decided on the Bonny - it's what I'd longed for but never attained all those years ago (many years ago!) in my teens.
The comment as I was handed the keys was "You're going to like this"
How wrong could they be - I absolutely LOVED it!
So smooth, controllable, relaxing - akin to stepping in to a luxury car. And it sounded gorgeous. I was back 2 weeks later - "Can I borrow it again to show my mate?"
Not ready to part with my Speed Triple (Got a track day next month!) - just need to figure out how to a) Convince the wife I need 2 bikes or b) Figure out where to hide it!
Could a T100 black with sulphur yellow highlights be mistaken for a yellow Speed Triple.....

Best plan of attack with the missus.

Be nice to her for a week, buy flowers and wine ect.

Explain that your concerned that the Speed Triple is doing too many miles every year and if you had another bike then you could keep the mileage down.

Also explain that the Bonnie is good to keep your speed down on the roads ( less chance of getting a ticket)

    Worth a shot anyway

Hi - I traded my Kawasaki Z750 in for a new Bonnie, never looked back, seat comfy, makes me ride more relaxed. Go on, you know it makes sense

I'm a convert. From a 2005 GSXR 1000 to a 07 Bonnie. Now sold all my leathers, gloves and boots. Can't see me converting back.
