Apologies if this has been mentioned previously but somewhat off the back of corrosion and protection system threads on the Bonneville forum and bikecare in general I invested in one of these

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Grooming-H...29&sr=1-1&keywords=Dog+pet+grooming+hairdryer

I know it says for pets but this is one powerful piece of kit really chases the bulk of the water off especially good drying the fins and engine area on the Bonnie of trapped water and from other hard to get areas and leaves the painted areas and seats streak free.

In fact it's that powerful it's a wonder if any pet would put up with it .....

Thanks for posting. There was a thread on here a while ago regarding using pet dryers for drying bikes. The consensus was that the pet dryers are better value than dedicated 'bike dryers', they do the same job.
I've been meaning to buy one too.

I've got a compressor for changing tyres that I occasionally use for drying . A bit too powerful for some parts of the bike but has its uses.

Hi I said it in the other forum post too, here in OZ we use a wee little bright light in the sky! Astronomers call it "SUN" it lights up everything and you can see for miles and miles, works in under 10 min's on a good day and so cheap to run. Works on our pets too !

    Cheers capt.

Small nozzle on compressor airline, gets the water out of all the little nooks and crannies where it settles around recessed bolts etc.

Far to damaging to the enviroment those petrol things !

At least my hot air blower only uses electricity harvested by those beautiful landscape enhancing wind turbines......
