Hi all. My ST has developed a rattle over 2000rpm and keeps pace with the throttle, when it started i turned the bike off then tried to restart to which the bike acted as if the battery was not charged enough, I left it a few hours then tried again it came back to life however the rattle was still there. Its an 08 Sprint with 24k on the clock it had its last service in Feb.
Yeah low miles and oil level is fine. I initially thought cam chain. The best way I can describe the noise is like something hitting the fan when moving. The noise is mostly on the right.
Great it is the big end... only had it 6 mth and done 3000mls on it. Now i have to prove there was a fault at point of sale.. If it comes to it and finance company wont do anything new engine me thinks
