A garden centre near me decided to have a mini bike day today, free entrance, with the obligatory burger stand. It was well attended too, here are a few pictures.
Ooooh, how fun, @Bikerman! It's like a "pop-up" bike show. Do they have those pop-up event thingies in your area? It's a big(ish) deal here in the U.S. Pop up stores, pop up food trucks/restaurants. Anyway, some really cool and interesting bikes. I particularly like that dragon!
Well I wouldn't say pop up so to speak, the better half found it for me this morning, so I thought why not. It wasn't massive, but it was a good atmosphere, and with the smell of the burgers, and some nice music it was a good event really. Sturgis watch out.
Some great bikes there the best of 70's/80's two strokes especially the RD 250 and also I'd be proud to call the green bonnie mine
Something about the 70's bikes, I had the Suzy GT250. Always liked the RD 250/400. Brilliant bikes, not forgetting the RD250LC/350.LC. Ah memories, Christ I'm getting old
Not too old you can still remember that says a lot the original LC's were great but when they dropped the 250 and updated the 350 ypvs it just lost its soul to me and it was built in Brazil
