    Hi all,
I have just bought an America 2002 plate and i am after a replacement battery box lid. If anyone has a spare or can give me a link to one on the web that would be much appreciated. I have had a look but have had no luck so far. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the family. Nice bike choice. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and let the inmates see your steed. As for battery box cover I feel some of the Harley covers would fit aswel.
    Regards & Ride Safe
    Joe.

    Hey all,
So i have been trawling the web with the part number (thanks to MadmrB), I am hopeful that even though the part is now obsolete somewhere will have one or two on the shelf covered in dust. I have found one on E-bay, in the U.S and second hand, all told it will cost me around £30 with shipping, which for a £5 part is still a lot. One or two sites in the U.S have them in stock but are asking $90 to ship, if it comes down to it i'll see my mate who has a milling machine and get him to knock out an ally or stainless version.

Try some of the triumph breakers like Triumphant and others. Another great source is new Bonneville .com.
    Regards
    Joe.

Did you try Engle Motors in Kansas City, Mo. ? [They have a website] . They are a Triumph dealer that not too long ago was clearing out all thier obsolete stock. I bought a set of factory running lights from them at a discounted price [about a year ago]…J.D.
