Hi all, I have just bought an America 2002 plate and i am after a replacement battery box lid. If anyone has a spare or can give me a link to one on the web that would be much appreciated. I have had a look but have had no luck so far.Thanks in advance.

Hey all, So i have been trawling the web with the part number (thanks to MadmrB), I am hopeful that even though the part is now obsolete somewhere will have one or two on the shelf covered in dust. I have found one on E-bay, in the U.S and second hand, all told it will cost me around £30 with shipping, which for a £5 part is still a lot. One or two sites in the U.S have them in stock but are asking $90 to ship, if it comes down to it i'll see my mate who has a milling machine and get him to knock out an ally or stainless version.

Did you try Engle Motors in Kansas City, Mo. ? [They have a website] . They are a Triumph dealer that not too long ago was clearing out all thier obsolete stock. I bought a set of factory running lights from them at a discounted price [about a year ago]…J.D.
