Hi, Hey....got a Street Triple at last !! it matches my 1969 Kawasaki H1 500......also a triple and in Pearl/ Midnight White. Owned it for a year and not ridden until last week....house renovation has taken over my life.......but its in the garage and its sooooo nice. OK needed an MOT sooo had to ride it to bikeshop......advisory....not used enough !!! Yeah true so me and neighbour who was test riding a KTM 790 Super Duke went for a spin.......I ain't ridden properly for 25 yrs plus.....so slowly slowly....last big bike was a GSXR1100 slingshot......so 125bhp back in the day and a proper thing.......went to Bol'dor and all over......unbeatable....sold it on to a mates mate......forks were bent....ahh so thats why it had dream machine paint !! Anyhow the 675 is on a par with it......not on outright power but just the way it goes.....but the triple has that exhaust note... nothing beats it. Got mine last year and think it was an end of line before the 765 came in. So lots of nice bits like Arrow silencer ??? seat cowl and belly pan etc etc. So after rideout neighbour cannot make his mind up so I lent him mine for a long ride that afternoon. He has a mint grey 675R in his garage as of today !!!!!
Hi Rob & Welcome to the Forum Street Triples are awesome bikes, you chose wisely as did your neighbour!
Thanks for the welcome chaps......seems like a friendly enough forum !! I'll sort some piccies out and attempt to post on here. A very old mate who is still in London is saving up for one at the mo, it will be the 3 amigos all on Street Triples going mad in Lake District next year I reckon !!!!!
Hi I'm new to the forum and are looking at buying either the street triple or speed triple it would be my first bike on the road but have raced moto x 250 and 500 what would you suggest
I'm new to triples.....4 stroke anyway! Bag a test ride on a 765 and see what you think??? Then buy one or get a low mileage 675R as budget dictates........you won't be dissapointed.......snappy ain't the word and build quality makes KTM laughable....
Yeh.....course we will....bikers are bikers mate.....still geting used to nodding at others ....loving it.
